Come on folks, we still need hands for the weekend work!
Michael has been down at the track all week making progress, but we need more people to pitch in. Right now our weekend slots are still wide open. The grill will be going and we’ll be serving up good vibes and delicious burgers, dogs, and other goodies. Look no further if you want to be able to have some laughs with new friends and help to make an impact not just for cycling but for the community. Invite down some friends, enjoy the beauty of the south shore, and get a little dirty.
We want to be able to offer as much track time as possible, but we do have critical pieces to complete for us to be able to hold races. Remember that volunteers earn free time on the track down the road, not to mention thanks and adoration!
In addition to all the work on the track itself, we’ll be offering minor bike repairs and tuning for folks in the area. Last week we were excited to see folks stop by and talk to us about the track and some of the things we’re planning. Getting feedback from our neighbors in the community is hugely important for us and we’re always on the lookout for things we could be doing better. So come on out and pitch in for an hour or two, every bit helps. Who knows, you might find you want to spend the day.
