Sept. Open Meeting and Board Nominations

SCVA’s next monthly meeting is Tuesday Sept. 22, 7-8:30 pm at the track’s location-  8615 S. Burley Ave (87th St, two blocks West of the Lakefront Path)

The public is invited to attend this meeting as well as get involved leading committees and serving on the Board of Directors.
We’re soliciting Board nominations from the public and will have a special mid-term election at this meeting.  Nominations can be submitted here and duties and responsibilities can be found here.

Fundraising is an on-going effort and we’re trying to keep up with the track payment schedule, insurance installments and other costs associated with keeping this facility in Chicago.  We’re challenging supporters and friends to help with small increments- giving again or getting a friend to donate.
The easiest ways to e-pay are Chase QuickPay or PayPal to fundraising@chicagovelodrome.com or through gofundme.com/SoChgoVelodrome.

We’ll be doing work at the track (repairs, cleaning, organizing, etc.) Thursday Sept 3 noon-6:30pm and Friday 9am-8pm.
