Jump Day and Donors
Hey Chicago! What day is it?
SCVA is getting over a number of humps on our way to another exciting weekend of progress, and the next big day is Tomorrow. That’s right- official workday Thursday from 8am to 2:30 or so- Operations Dir Mike MichaelG@chicagovelodrome.com is leading. We’ll have our standard waivers at the track but feel free to prepare one ahead and you’ll need a parent’s signature if you’re under 18 and a parental chaperone if under 15 years.
Another hill that’ll be nice to crest will be the halfway point for paying off the track structure. We can hit that milestone soon, by pulling together a bit more. We’d like to thank The Bike Lane and Freeman Kevenides Law Firm for their constant support of our communities as well as helping cover this week’s expenditures. The responsibility of purchasing, maintaining and running a velodrome is no small task and we invite you to help by sharing the most convenient method for contributing to SCVA.
Lastly- don’t forget to sign up for this weekend’s activities and help us ready this community asset for riding in a few days.
