We’ve got a land lease and work begins again!

We’re very pleased to announce that we’ve signed a land lease with the property owners, which means we have access to the site again! We’ve signed the necessary paperwork, including the requisite insurance, and we can’t wait to be able to get the track back in action. This means that in addition to our table at the races on Saturday we’re holding our first official work day. We’ll be doing seasonal maintenance on the track and preparing the grounds. In order to do that we need help, both in gathering some materials as well as providing some gold old fashioned elbow grease. If you’re available to help please choose a spot at our volunteerspot. All skill levels and abilities welcome!

There’s no login required, and it helps us keep track of what we need and what’s already covered. These work days are incredibly important! Without the routine maintenance needed to repair the winter wear and tear we won’t be able to start the season. There’s work to be done as well to cleanup and prepare the grounds. We want to be able to get things moving on all the great activity we have planned at the track but to do so we really need the support of the community. So come on out and join us. Make a day of it: work the morning shift, hit the slow roll, and stay for exciting race action. Or maybe enjoy some of the early racing, work the second shift, and still be done in time to watch the professionals tangle in the evening.

Let’s make it happen!
