Things continue to happen here at the SCVA. We have a couple of upcoming meetings, and as always they’re open to the public.<\/p>\n

Our general monthly meeting will be on Wednesday \u00a011\/4<\/span> (on facebook<\/a>\u00a0and on thechainlink<\/a>) at 7pm at the velodrome. Given everything that’s been happening though\u00a0we’ll be having an additional meeting this Wednesday 10\/28<\/span> (on FB<\/a>\u00a0and on TCL<\/a>), also at 7pm. Our newly appointed committee heads have been working to put together initial plans and we’ll be reviewing them and hopefully placing new volunteers. \u00a0We’ll also be discussing autumn outreach and fundraising, our upcoming banquet in the new year and how we begin to lay the groundwork for our programs in 2016. \u00a0The working agenda is here<\/a> and items may be added by emailing info@chicagovelodrome.com or calling 1-872-588-7282 (Luv-SCVA).<\/p>\n

We welcome anyone to join us, whether it’s to become more active in the group, or just to listen to what’s been happening.<\/p>\n

As a reminder of some of what’s going on, we’re still looking for volunteers for painting and mural creation to add some character to the trailers around the track, and create signage to make the velodrome a bit more welcoming.
